SideShore KS2 trip
We are all feeling inspired following our visit to the Sideshore project where the children had an opportunity to create marine life using recyclable materials. The pieces of art created will be displayed during the Exmouth festival in the summer. We are also hoping to make some of our own pieces of marine life art to use as stage props in our Sumner production.
It may have been wet and windy but it certainly didn't dampen the Woodbury Salterton spirit. The children loved testing out their lifeguarding skills and learning how to keep themselves and their families safe whilst swimming at the beach.
We are incredibly proud of how each child found their courage and entered a rather rough sea during the swimming part of our Sideshore day out. So many squeals of laughter and giggles as they braved the cold water. It was wonderful to see how proud each child was of their achievement during this event.
